We thought we’d clarify something. Although we really hope to be training you on how to build your own website, we realize some people don’t have the time or desire to do this but they still need an affordable website. Added to the Startup page, we have indicated a base rate for this service but will need to consult with you about your needs so we can better reflect your budget.
It’s been helpful talking to other entrepreneurs about their time, processes and ideas. We understand many of the daunting undertakings of starting a business and realize some may not have enough energy for the learning process, we know it’s not for everyone. We certainly don’t want to miss out on the opportunity of assisting your business. We too are new and over time this website will grow and change, things will be moved around depending on our changes. Again that is the beauty of WordPress.
Recently we tutored one of our clients with WordPress.com. Before the learning process, she felt intimidated and was convinced it was over her head so she came to us for help. Together, we approached her goal and after a total of 6.5 hours of training, she was able to produce her website and run it independently of needing our help. Her goals are changing, so she is now shifting content around, and redesigning her banner to reflect current goals. It’s amazing that a website can change with you and not leave you stuck in the mud. We think it’s awesome. For us, there is nothing more rewarding than watching our clients grab the helm of their site and drive it!
No matter if we train you in the process, or do the work for you, you will still be left with a steering wheel for your website making things easier and more affordable for you in the long run. The training initiative is new for us and we’re still learning what works best for you. We have modeled this around our experiences of working together.
